On our visit to the fire station, we got to:
*spray the fire hoses,
*tour the station,
*hear the siren,
*try on a firefighter's hat, boots, pants, jacket,
gloves, etc.,
*walk through an ambulance
We told the fire chief everything we knew about
fire and how to be safe around it. We even
showed him how to "stop, drop, and roll".
Then we asked him some questions:
*Which part of the fire is the hottest? (the very
top)
*How does it feel in that fire suit? (very hot and
sweaty)
