The construction center allows students
to use their knowledge of space, shapes,
and balance to create their own
structures.
We provide: unit blocks, Legos, Lincoln
Logs, Tinkertoys, Marbleworks, etc.
Students provide the imagination and
determination!
After each building is complete, the
"architects" record the plans (detailed
drawing/"blueprints") in the construction
journal. Some students will even use the
journal as a starting point- using the
blueprint to recreate a building instead of
creating their own.
